Distributions from the permanent university fund shall constitute the available university fund. All distributions from the permanent university fund shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the available university fund by the board of regents of The University of Texas System or by the custodian or custodians of the permanent university fund's securities. The University of Texas System shall provide the information necessary for the comptroller to accurately account for distributions from the permanent university fund and to protect state revenues. The system shall provide the information using the method, format, and frequency required by the comptroller.
