(a) For the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years, a school district is entitled to additional state aid each year equal to the amount, if the amount is greater than zero, that the district is entitled to under Sections 48.158 and 48.1581 less the amount that results from subtracting the amount of funding the district was entitled to under this chapter and Chapter 49 as those chapters existed on September 1, 2024, from the funding the district is entitled to under this chapter and Chapter 49 for the current year.
(b) This section expires September 1, 2028.
