Texas Education Code - EDUC § 30.081. Legislative Intent Concerning Regional Day Schools for the Deaf

The legislature, by this subchapter, intends to continue a process of providing on a statewide basis a suitable education to deaf or hard of hearing students who are under 22 years of age and assuring that those students have the opportunity to become independent citizens.
