(a) The agency, in cooperation with the advisory committee established under Section 12.254, shall adopt or develop and administer a standardized secondary exit-level assessment instrument appropriate for assessing program participants who successfully complete high school curriculum requirements under an adult education program operated under a charter granted under this subchapter.
(b) The commissioner, in cooperation with the advisory committee established under Section 12.254, shall determine the level of performance considered to be satisfactory on the secondary exit-level assessment instrument adopted under Subsection (a) for receipt of a high school diploma by a program participant in an adult education program operated under a charter granted under this subchapter.
(c) Expired, eff. Sept. 1, 2025.
