A child is eligible to attend school in a military reservation school district if the child is eligible under Section 25.001 and is the child of an officer, soldier, or civilian employee residing or employed on the reservation. The board of trustees may transfer any child who cannot be provided for by the district of the child's residence to any school district maintaining adequate facilities and standards for elementary, junior, or senior high schools, as applicable.
