(a) This section applies only to a municipality with a population of less than 100,000.
(b) The consolidated municipal court building security and technology fund is a fund in the municipal court treasury. The fund consists of money allocated to the fund under Section 134.103, Local Government Code.
(c) Money deposited in a consolidated municipal court building security and technology fund may be used only for the purposed authorized under:
(1) Article 102.017(b) or (c) for use of a municipal court technology fund; or
(2) Article 102.0172(b) for use of a municipal court technology fund.
(d) The consolidated municipal court building security and technology fund shall be administered by or under the direction of the governing body of the municipality.
