Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, a person engaged in business as a distiller, brewer, winery, or any other manufacturing level producer of liquor or malt beverages, or their wholesalers or distributors, may not directly or indirectly or through an affiliate require, by agreement or otherwise, that any retailer engaged in the sale of liquor or malt beverages purchase any such products from such person to the exclusion in whole or in part of liquor or malt beverages sold or offered for sale by other persons, or prevent, deter, hinder, or restrict other persons from selling or offering for sale any such products to any retailer.
