Tennessee Code Title 65. Public Utilities and Carriers § 65-1-115

(a) In addition to the designations of preferred and executive service employees in § 8-30-202, the following members of the former public service commission shall be included in the executive service:

(b) All actions of the department of human resources in regard to the Tennessee public utility commission personnel transactions may, upon request of a majority of the commission's commissioners, be reviewed and revised, modified or reversed by action of the house finance, ways and means committee and the senate finance, ways and means committee.
