All life insurance policies and certificates issued in connection with loans or credit transactions for a duration of fifteen (15) years or less shall be subject to § 56-7-902 -- 56-7-912, except in connection with a loan or other credit transaction where the period of coverage on the debtor determined at date of issuance of the coverage is of more than ten (10) years' duration. Insurance shall not be subject to § 56-7-902 -- 56-7-912 where the issuance of the insurance is an isolated transaction on the part of the insurer not related to an agreement or a plan for insuring debtors of the creditor.
