Tennessee Code Title 55. Motor and Other Vehicles § 55-4-330

(a)(1) An owner or lessee of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state, upon complying with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles and paying the regular fee applicable to the motor vehicle and the fee provided for in § 55-4-204, shall be issued a USTA Tennessee new specialty earmarked license plate for a motor vehicle authorized by § 55-4-210(c).

(2) The USTA Tennessee new specialty earmarked license plate must be designed in consultation with a representative of USTA Tennessee.

(3) The funds produced from the sale of USTA Tennessee new specialty earmarked license plates must be allocated to the Tennessee Tennis Association, Incorporated, in accordance with § 55-4-301.  The funds must be used exclusively to promote and develop the game of tennis in this state to its highest potential and make it accessible to everyone.

(b)(1) An owner or lessee of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state, upon complying with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles and paying the regular fee applicable to the motor vehicle and the fee provided for in § 55-4-204, shall be issued a Golfer new specialty earmarked license plate for a motor vehicle authorized by § 55-4-210(c).

(2) The Golfer new specialty earmarked license plate must be designed in consultation with a representative of 2nd Century Foundation.

(3) The funds produced from the sale of Golfer new specialty earmarked license plates must be allocated to 2nd Century Foundation in accordance with § 55-4-301.  The funds must be used exclusively to preserve the property, facilities, and tradition of the nationally recognized Johnson City Golf and Country Club in Johnson City, Tennessee.

(4) Notwithstanding § 55-4-202(k)(1), the Golfer new specialty earmarked license plate authorized pursuant to this subsection (b) has until July 1, 2026, to meet the applicable minimum issuance requirements of § 55-4-202(k)(1).

(d)(1) An owner or lessee of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state, upon complying with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles and paying the regular fee applicable to the motor vehicle and the fee provided in § 55-4-204, shall be issued a Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball new specialty earmarked license plate for a motor vehicle authorized by § 55-4-210(c).

(2) The new specialty earmarked license plates authorized by this subsection (d) must be of an appropriate design or logo representative of the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball.  The plates must be designed in consultation with a representative from the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball.

(3) The funds produced from the sale of Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball new specialty earmarked license plates must be allocated to the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball, in accordance with § 55-4-301.  The funds must be used exclusively in furtherance of the organization's mission to provide cultural enrichment and education programs and activities to youth and adults in this state that emphasize honor, team play, respectful conduct, and community pride.

(e)(1) An owner or lessee of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state, upon complying with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles and paying the regular fee applicable to the motor vehicle and the fee provided in § 55-4-204, shall be issued a Pickleball new specialty earmarked license plate for a motor vehicle authorized by § 55-4-210(c).

(2) The new specialty earmarked license plates authorized by this subsection (e) must be of an appropriate design or logo representative of the Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association.  The plates must be designed in consultation with a representative from the Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association.

(3) The funds produced from the sale of Pickleball new specialty earmarked license plates must be allocated to the Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association, in accordance with § 55-4-301.  The funds must be used exclusively in furtherance of the organization's mission to develop every child's ability to engage in and play the game of pickleball while building character, developing long-term values and skills, and creating a lifelong love of sports, physical activity, and healthy competition.
