(a) The department of revenue shall, on or before June 30, 2026, procure and implement an electronic lien and title system to be used throughout the state.
(b) As used in this section, “electronic lien and title system” means a program that allows the exchange of lien and title information with lienholders and is used to create, save, alter, and transfer titles to property.
