All general and public laws affected by this chapter shall be revised, amended, consolidated, and conformed by the law revision office of the joint committee on legislative services. Wherever in general and public laws reference is made to the functions of the department of human services, the department of corrections, the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals, and the department of community affairs that are transferred to the department of children, youth and families, the law revision office of the joint committee on legislative services shall revise, amend, consolidate, and conform those references to the plan to effectuate the purpose and intent of the plan. General and public laws, when so revised, amended, consolidated, and conformed, shall be published in the general and public laws as provided by chapter 134 of the Public Laws, 1969.
