Unclaimed prize money for prizes in connection with the play of a video lottery game, iGaming game, and an unclaimed payoff in connection with a sports wager shall be retained by the director for the person entitled thereto for one year after, respectively, the completion of the applicable video lottery game, iGaming game, or the determination of the result of the sporting event that was the subject of the applicable sports wager. If no claim is made for the prize money or payoff within that year, the prize money or payoff shall automatically revert to the lottery fund and the winner shall have no claim thereto.
