As a condition of receipt of a payment under this chapter, each participating hospital shall submit to the department data, reports and/or independent certified audits as may be required by the department to timely comply with the requirements of Section 1923 of the federal Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1396r-4, as amended, and any implementing regulations or directives duly promulgated by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
