The director of labor and training shall investigate and determine the standard compensation to be paid as set forth in § 37-26-3 and post the rates on the director of labor and training's website. In making a determination, the director may adopt and use such appropriate and applicable prevailing wage determinations as have been made by the Secretary of Labor of the United States of America in accordance with the Service Contract Act ( 41 U.S.C. § 351 et seq.), as well as relevant collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and previous state purchasing entity contracts.
