Rhode Island General Laws Title 36. Public Officers and Employees § 36-7-32. Validation of ordinances and resolutions

All ordinances, resolutions, and votes adopted by all cities, towns, and agencies pursuant to the provisions of §§ 36-7-1-- 36-7-31 as the sections were in effect prior to April 21, 1955, and all action taken pursuant to those ordinances, resolutions, and votes shall be valid and of the ordinances, resolutions, and votes  1 force and effect as if the ordinances, resolutions, and votes were adopted pursuant to the provisions of §§ 36-7-1-- 36-7-31.
