(a) No tractor or truck tractor, as defined in 23 C.F.R. 658.5, pulling a trailer or trailers, shall be allowed to travel on that portion of Route 116 between Route 44 and West Greenville Road known as Smith Avenue in the town of Smithfield.
(b) The director of the department of transportation is directed to post signs to limit access as prescribed in subsection (a).
(c) Violations of this section shall be punishable by a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first offense, and not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100) for each and every subsequent offense.
