(a) Each city or town that is a member of a regional school district shall annually appropriate a sum sufficient to pay its proportionate share of the interest on the bonds and notes issued and outstanding under authority of this chapter, and also to pay its proportionate share of the principal of the bonds and notes maturing in any one year until the bonds and notes are fully paid.
(b) Each city or town that is a member of the district shall annually appropriate a sum sufficient to pay its proportionate share of the operation of the regional school district in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
