(a) For good cause, the commission, with the approval of the governor, shall determine a termination or modification date, and, upon that determination, the commission shall submit a report to the governor that will outline a plan for the orderly termination or modification of the commission.
(b)(1) The report will be submitted at least four (4) months prior to the termination or modification date and will include, but not be limited to, a review of the performance and effectiveness of the commission.
(2) The report will include a recommendation that the purpose of this chapter or chapter 1.2 be reviewed or amended, that the commission be reorganized, or that this chapter or chapter 1.2 be repealed.
