The term “construction design professional,” as used in this act, means a professional engineer or land surveyor licensed by the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists under the act of May 23, 1945 (P.L. 913, No. 367), known as the “Engineer, Land Surveyor and Geologist Registration Law,” 1 a landscape architect who is licensed by the State Board of Landscape Architects under the act of January 24, 1966 (1965 P.L. 1527, No. 535), known as the “Landscape Architects' Registration Law,” 2 an architect who is licensed by the Architects Licensure Board under the act of December 14, 1982 (P.L. 1227, No. 281), known as the “Architects Licensure Law,” 3 or any corporation or association, including professional corporations, organized or registered under the act of December 21, 1988 (P.L. 1444, No. 177), known as the “General Association Act of 1988,” 4 practicing engineering, architecture, landscape architecture or surveying in this Commonwealth.
