Pennsylvania Statutes Title 77 P.S. Workers' Compensation § 1040.2. Department referral of violations to law enforcement officials

(a) The department is authorized to refer to the appropriate law enforcement official violations of Article XI  1 if the department has reason to believe that a person has engaged in or is engaging in an act or practice that violates Article XI.

(b) The department shall furnish all papers, documents, reports, complaints or other facts or evidence to any police, sheriff or other law enforcement agency or governmental entity duly authorized to receive such information, when so requested, and shall assist and cooperate with those agencies.
