(a) A person who violates section 1102 1 shall be guilty of a felony of the third degree and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or double the value of the fraud or to undergo imprisonment for a period of not more than seven years, or both.
(b) A person who violates section 1103 2 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) or double the amount of the fraud, or both.
(c) A health care provider or lawyer who is guilty of an offense under section 1102 while acting on behalf of others shall be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension or revocation of a license or certificate or recommendation for suspension or disbarment to the Supreme Court, on the same basis as a health care provider or lawyer who is guilty of an offense under section 1103.
