Any transient vendor conducting business within the Commonwealth while its certificate is suspended or revoked, as provided by sections 248.1(b) 1 and 248.2(c), 2 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each offense.
