Recorders of deeds and prothonotaries shall be entitled to receive ten cents for each and every mortgage, judgment, or lien, assignment or satisfaction thereof, reported to the county commissioners or board of revision of taxes as required by law; which fees shall be paid by the respective county treasurer on the presentation of proper vouchers, and shall be applied in like manner as other fees received by such recorders and prothonotaries: Provided, however, That no fee shall be allowed in any case where the residence of any plaintiff, mortgagee, or assignee is omitted in such report: And provided further, That the amount allowed any prothonotary or recorder of deeds, under this act, shall not exceed the sum of six hundred dollars per annum.
