Pennsylvania Statutes Title 72 P.S. Taxation and Fiscal Affairs § 3835. Appropriation for administration expenses

The sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is hereby appropriated to the Treasury Department for the payment of the salaries and compensation of employes of the department and the cost of materials and supplies necessary for the administration of moneys and securities so received by the State Treasurer as custodian.  It shall not be necessary for the Treasury Department to segregate the costs of administering such money and securities from the cost of other activities of the department, but the amount hereinabove appropriated shall be available for the payment of salaries and compensation by the department upon certification of the State Treasurer that expenditure of such amounts became necessary as the result of extra work required by this act.
