All the duties not herein provided for, which, previous to the passage of the act, entitled “An act making a new arrangement of the treasury department, and enjoining certain duties on county commissioners,” 1 were enjoined on the comptroller general, shall be performed by the state treasurer, and those enjoined on the register general shall be performed by the auditor general, under the same powers and subject to like restrictions and proceedings, as when performed by the said comptroller and register generals.
