Pennsylvania Statutes Title 72 P.S. Taxation and Fiscal Affairs § 101-E. Definitions

The following words and phrases when used in this article shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

“American Rescue Plan.”American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (Public Law 117-2, 135 Stat. 4).

“Department.” The Department of Human Services of the Commonwealth.

“Program.” The American Rescue Plan Rental and Utility Assistance Grant Program established under section 102-E.  1

“Utilities.” Includes separately stated electricity, gas, water and sewer, trash removal and energy costs, such as fuel oil. Telecommunications services, such as telephone and cable, delivered to the rental dwelling are not considered to be utilities.
