All moneys received by the secretary as receiver of an institution shall be deposited by him with one or more corporations or persons authorized by law to receive deposits and subject to the supervision either of Federal or State banking authorities. He shall require of such depository security therefor, in such amount and of such nature as the secretary shall deem adequate.
