The Governor is hereby authorized to accept, on behalf of the Commonwealth, grants of money from the President of the United States or any Federal agency authorized to make such grants under the National Industrial Recovery Act, approved the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, or any amendments thereof or supplements thereto, 1 or any other Federal act, for the construction of public works by or on behalf of the Commonwealth.
