Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, unless Federal laws or regulations provide otherwise, a Federal savings and loan association, incorporated pursuant to the Home Owners’ Loan Act of 1933, 1 as now or hereafter amended, and whose principal office is in Pennsylvania, together with the members thereof, shall possess all of the rights, powers, privileges, benefits, immunities and exemptions that are now or hereafter provided in this code or by the laws of this Commonwealth for associations organized under the laws of this Commonwealth and for the members and savings account holders thereof. This provision is additional and supplemental to any provision which by specific reference is applicable to Federal savings and loan associations and the members thereof.
