The aggregate amount that an association may invest in loans and participations in loans in urban renewal areas plus the amount of real property owned by the association in urban renewal areas, plus investments made in accordance with the provisions of subsection 922(j) of this act 1 shall not exceed five percent of the assets of the association. Loans in urban renewal areas which meet all of the requirements of this act without the benefit of the authority to make such loans as contained in section 910 2 shall not be included in said five percent limitation.
