The presently confirmed members of the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure constituted under section 412 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L. 177, No. 175), 1 known as The Administrative Code of 1929, as of December 31, 1985, shall continue to serve as board members until their present terms of office expire, provided that any present board member whose term has expired on or before the effective date of this act shall serve until a successor has been appointed and qualified, but no longer than six months after the effective date of this act.
