The board shall determine the subjects of examination for applicants for licensure as nursing home administrators, and the scope, content and format of such examinations which in any examination shall be the same for all candidates. The examinations shall include examination of the applicant to demonstrate his proficiency in the rules and regulations of health and safety.
Examinations shall be held at least four times for the first year and at least two times each year thereafter, at such times and places as the board shall designate.
All written, oral and practical examinations shall be prepared and administered by a qualified and approved professional testing organization in the manner prescribed for written examinations by the provisions of section 812.1 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L. 177, No. 175), 1 known as “The Administrative Code of 1929.”
