Pennsylvania Statutes Title 58 P.S. Oil and Gas § 504. Powers and duties of department

(a) The department shall have the power to issue such orders as are necessary to aid in the enforcement of the provisions of this act.

(b) This act shall not be construed to grant to the department authority or power to:

(1) Limit production or output, or prorate production of any gas well above the onondaga horizon.

(2) Fix prices of natural gas.

(c) The powers and duties of the department shall be strictly construed and limited to those set forth herein.
