(a) Notwithstanding the prohibition against the manufacture of confectionery containing alcohol as set forth in the fifth clause of subsection (a) of section 3 of the act of May 13, 1909 (P.L. 520, No. 292), 1 referred to as the Pure Food Law, the manufacture, storage, transportation and delivery to points out-of-State by manufacturers of confectionery containing alcohol or liquor is permitted.
(b) The sale of confectionery containing alcohol or liquor is prohibited within this Commonwealth.
(c) This section is not intended to cover, govern, nor control the sale of confectionery containing tinctures or extracts used for flavoring purposes or solvents for glazes.
