Any person employing or permitting any female to work in any establishment where white lead, arsenic or other poisonous substances, or injurious fumes, dust or gases, shall be present, shall provide and maintain a suitable room, free from the aforesaid substances, fumes, dust and gases, for the use of said female employees; and no such person shall, during the time allowed for meals, permit any such female to remain in any room where the aforesaid substances, fumes, dust, and gases shall be present.
