Pennsylvania Statutes Title 42 Pa.C.S.A. Judiciary and Judicial Procedure § 7378. Qualification and selection of arbitrator

(a) Qualifications.--Except as set forth in subsection (b) and unless waived in a record by the parties, an arbitrator must:

(b) Arbitration agreement.--The identification in the arbitration agreement of an arbitrator, arbitration organization or method of selection of the arbitrator controls.

(c) Court selection.--If an arbitrator is unable or unwilling to act or if the agreed-on method of selecting an arbitrator fails, on motion of a party, the court shall select an arbitrator.
