Pennsylvania Statutes Title 40 P.S. Insurance § 625-2. Applicability and purpose

Except as expressly provided, this article shall apply to all insurers licensed to do business in this Commonwealth with respect to any life insurance policy or annuity delivered or issued for delivery in this Commonwealth and to all producers licensed to sell life insurance or annuities with respect to any life insurance policy or annuity marketed or sold in this Commonwealth. The purpose of this article is to prescribe standards which shall be followed in the solicitation, sale, issuance and delivery of life insurance products and annuities.
