Every insurer, every employee of an insurer and every licensed agent or broker shall cooperate fully with the section. Where an insurer, agent or broker who believes that an insurance fraud has been or is being committed notifies the section, the notification shall toll any applicable time period in the act of July 22, 1974 (P.L. 589, No. 205), 1 known as the Unfair Insurance Practices Act, or any other law or regulation.
