The said insolvent shall, from time to time, at the expense of the estate, make and execute such deeds and writings, indorse such bills and other negotiable papers, draw such checks and orders for money deposited in banks and elsewhere, and do all such other lawful acts and things as the assignee or receiver may reasonably require, and which may be deemed useful for confirming the assignment, or to enable the assignee to demand, recover and receive all the estate and effects of the insolvent, especially any part thereof, which is without this commonwealth.
