The security, required by this act, shall be by deposit of money, or of sufficient and available securities for money, under the direction of the court, or by mortgage on real estate, which shall enure to the benefit of the parties interested, who may sue for the same, in the name of the commonwealth, in like manner as official bonds are sued.
