Pennsylvania Statutes Title 36 P.S. Highways and Bridges § 1985. Approval by Secretary of Highways

No road or highway shall be widened, altered, or vacated under the provisions of this act until the approval in writing of the Secretary of Highways is first obtained; such approval to be filed with the petition to the court of quarter sessions requesting the proposed widening, altering, or vacating.
