Pennsylvania Statutes Title 35 P.S. Health and Safety § 723.4. Prohibition of sale of plumbing materials that are not lead free

No person shall sell, exchange or offer for sale within this Commonwealth any pipe, pipe fitting, solder or flux commonly used in plumbing systems that is not lead free. Solders that are not lead free and that are commonly used in plumbing systems include, but are not limited to, solid core or acid core solders, such as 50-50 tin-lead solder and 85-15 tin-lead solder.
