The Attorney General may prosecute any and all persons suspected of violating any of the provisions of this act or the rules and regulations thereunder. The department may employ the personnel necessary to administer the provisions of this act and may incur such other expenses as are necessary for the administration of this act. Inspections or investigations made pursuant to the provisions of this act shall be made by personnel from the department, or by the Attorney General, or by local law enforcement authorities.
