The following acts which are repealed in section 2104 1 are saved from repeal to the extent that such acts provide authority for the regulation and prevention of fire or explosive hazards at aboveground or underground storage tanks:
Act of June 8, 1911 (P.L. 705, No. 281), entitled “An act creating the office of Fire Marshal, 2 to be attached to the Department of Public Safety in cities of the first class; prescribing his duties and powers; and providing penalties for violations of the provisions of the act; and providing for the method of appointment, compensation, and for the maintenance of his office.”
Act of April 27, 1927 (P.L. 450, No. 291), referred to as the State Fire Marshal Law. 3
Act of July 28, 1953 (P.L. 723, No. 230), known as the Second Class County Code. 4
