Pennsylvania Statutes Title 24 P.S. Education § 6404.1. Duty of Department of Education

The Department of Education shall provide client outreach and referral activities that are coordinated with other adult education and literacy programs, county assistance offices, social service agencies, offices of employment security, programs under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-220, 112 Stat. 936)  1 and other community groups or agencies that provide services and assistance to persons in need of basic literacy skills.
