Pennsylvania Statutes Title 24 P.S. Education § 2070.8. Commission staff

(a) There shall be an executive director of the commission who shall serve as the executive officer and secretary of the commission. The commission and the secretary shall jointly employ and fix the compensation of the executive director. The executive director, with approval of the commission and the secretary, may employ additional professional and clerical personnel as may be necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the commission. The department shall provide adequate space and equipment to facilitate the activities of the commission.

(b) The Governor, through his General Counsel, shall provide such legal advice and assistance as the commission may require.
