(a) If a student is enrolled in a school on or before October 1 and is continuously enrolled in the school until the last day of the applicable Pennsylvania System of School Accountability testing window, and the student has been absent for at least twenty percent (20%) of the school days during that same time period, the student shall be deemed as not meeting the full academic year requirement for the school and the student's score may not be included into the school accountability performance calculation.
(b) This section shall only be effective if in compliance with Federal law.
(c) As used in this section, the term “full academic year” shall mean that the student is enrolled in the school on or before October 1 and continuously enrolled in the school until and including the last day of the applicable testing window.
