Pennsylvania Statutes Title 21 P.S. Deeds and Mortgages § 152. Power of recorder of deeds as to acknowledgments enlarged

The several recorders of deeds within this commonwealth, heretofore authorized to take the acknowledgment of and proof of deeds and other writings shall have full power, and are hereby authorized to take and certify the acknowledgment and proof of or concerning any such instruments of writing, as fully and with like effect as any judge or justice of the peace of this commonwealth might or could do.
