Pennsylvania Statutes Title 16 P.S. Counties § 9305. Time for proposals for rebuilding bridges may be reduced

In the event of the destruction by fire, flood or otherwise, of a bridge or bridges, on any important thoroughfare, or where delay in rebuilding will be of serious inconvenience to trade and travel, the commissioners may reduce the time of advertisement for sealed proposals, as also the time the specifications shall be open to inspection on the books of the commissioners, to two weeks.
